I like this group. When I heard the Tales of the Sands it was for me immediately clear: they play music in a special style between “west” and “east”. A modern hard rock but with some oriental influences in their compositions. A bridge between a lot of people.

I hope they come to the Netherlands for a concert in 2013.

Thank you for your honest assessment of the book Mortenson actually did write. The controversy was a horror show no author should have to go through, and it is quite warming see the general public taking a second look. You are correct, the CAI is who they say they are, and do what they say they do, build schools, especially for girls.

I saw that “Roads to Moscow” was on Side 2. That’s the song I’m most familiar with on the album.

I have that album. I got it for the first song on the second side: Roads to Moscow.
Haven’t listened to it in years, until I read your post. Great song.

That’s true but I think that the question is can US company’s doing business in other countries make sure that the working conditions are safe and maybe help workers get a higher rate of pay, not as much as US workers , but enough to raise their standard of living, and still make a profit! I bet they can!
