A Summer Full of New Reads!!

Ok so I see where my reading time will be spent over the next few months here’s some of the books to be released over the next several months:

Blood Line – James Rollins – a Sigma Force Novel – June 26, 2012 – I love Rollins’ books. Great characters and always a fine story line that blends history with action!

Die a Stranger Steve Hamilton –  An Alex McKnight Novel – July 3, 2012 – It’s been a while since the last Alex Mcknight book, set in the northern peninsula of Michigan this is a favorite series!

Criminal – Karin Slaughter – July 3, 2012 – Will Trent – Atlanta series – As is this one, from the first book I read by Slaughter Kisscut I was a fan. Since Kisscut was the second book in her Grant County series, I quickly went back and read the first Blindsighted and haven’t missed one since. The characters in this series are great too and there’s been some shocking twists in the lives of the characters!

Trickster’s  Point – William Kent Krueger – August 21, 2012 Cork O’Connor – like Slaugther’s work I the first book I read in the Cork O’Connor series was not the first but rather Book 3 –  Purgatory Ridge – since then I haven’t missed a new one and I went back and read the old ones. Just another great series

Last to Die – Tess Gerritsen – August 2, 2012  Rizzoli & Isles –  I started reading Tess Gerritsen with The Surgeon and was hooked. I went back and read a fw of her early stand alone medical thrillers and then moved on to The Surgeon’s Apprentice and have kept up with the series until The Silent Girl which I started and then got distracted and never finished. Hopefully, I can catch up with Rizzolli and Isles with this book and then go back and read The Silent Girl!

Say You’re Sorry Michael Robotham – October 2, 2012 Joe O’Loughlin – I don’t know how is was turned on to Michael Robotham’s work but I’m sure glad I was. This series is excellent! The characters and the story lines are the best!  Each of hois books has gotten better and better as Joe’s life has unraveled! The suspense and action in these books is something else!!

So I guess I’ll have a busy summer and fall not to mention that I have yet to read the new Harlan Coben Stay Close  or the C J Box Force of Nature. I think it’s time for less music and more reading – maybe more jazz and New Age that can be listened to WHILE reading!!
