So let’s see what’s new on the iPod over the last few days that I haven’t written about yet~ First there’s the new Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers’ album Unida Cantina. I’ve listened to this album several times and every time I listen I like the album more and more! Clyne and the band just create great fun music!
Next there’s the new album from Tab Benoit, one of my favorite bluesmen. The album is titled Medicine. I listened to about half of the album and really like it. I enjoy Benoit’s music great guitar coupled with Tab’s unique southern vocals!
Finally, there’s a new artist that I just read about in Blues Revue magazine Samantha Fish and her debut album Runaway. I only listened to the first couple of tracks but the guitar work sounded great as did the vocals! I think
I am really going to enjoy the album.
Earlier today I went to the store and was not in a good mood. I had downloaded and was listening to Mark Dvorak and while the music was ok it was not really improving my mood. So I turned to Jerry Jeff Walker and his album Navajo Rug. I listened to the first three songs and my mood improved. So then I put on an album that always lifts my spirits the Best of the New Grass Revival.reat picking AND John Cowan’s vocals soon “Can’t Stop Now ” was playing and my mood had been elevated!!
